This workshop is about a deeper understanding and appreciation of what it really means to CONNECT & INVITE (the first two steps of The Prosperous Coach Approach).
Did you know that CONNECTING is hardwired into us a humans?
We long for belonging, community and being in relationship with other people.
We have a need for love, nurturing, support and emotional regulation - all of which happen in connection with others.
So then . . .
➤ Why can it feel so hard to walk into a room of people we don't know and introduce ourselves?
➤ Why can the simple act of sharing a post, newsletter or reel give us a near panic attack?
➤ Why do we replay conversations in our heads over and over again, scrutinizing our words and wincing at what we said after meeting someone new?
➤ Why can the things that used to come to us so easily and naturally as children feel like huge obstacles that require super human strength and a week of recovery time?
Because as humans, we are also hardwired to PROTECT!
Our animal brains, designed to keep us alive, are constantly scanning for threats and ways to keep us safe.
And according to that brain, constantly connecting and stretching outside your social bubble is a big no-no.
If you feel that with more and more life experience, your tolerance for uncertainty, vulnerability and risk has gone down, you're not alone.

For most of my life, I lived with intense social anxiety.
In first grade it was panic attacks.
In high school, it was a fear of answering the phone and talking to basketball recruiters.
In college, raising my hand felt like a herculean task.
That (and more) is all a part of my journey. But that is not who I am today.
Today, I'm a coach who:
- Attends 2-4 networking events a month.
- Created client enrollment conversations and proposals after meeting people in airports - twice!
- Is planning 2025 events in partnerships with two local businesses.
- Sent out over personal 100 invitations to fill a workshop.
- Created my first keynote talk from a phone call with a stranger while walking on my treadmill.
- Has a multi-six figure coaching practice that simple follows the steps of Connect, Invite, Coach, Propose.

Mary Gallagher is a professional life and business coach who is passionate about helping people actualize their full potential and create their heartfelt dreams.
